Manal bint Murshid Al-Harbi, who obtained a Ph.D. in sculpture in 2009, as the first Saudi sculptor to obtain a master’s degree and a doctorate in this field. She also obtained a high diploma in ceramics and polymer sciences from the Geneva University of Art and Design, Switzerland, in 2013. Al-Harbi works as an associate professor in Department of Visual Arts, College of Designs and Arts at Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University. She is a practicing sculptor since 1995. She participated in her sculptural works in more than 20 local and international exhibitions, and acquired her works inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. public and private. She held specialized courses and workshops in the field of sculpture. She also judged a number of competitions in the fields of arts. She worked as a member of the advisory board of the International Society for Sculpture of Arabic Letters. In the scientific field, Dr. Manal participated in a number of scientific conferences and meetings. She has papers and scientific research in the field of sculpture, and she is a member of local and international scientific and professional societies.
